At Appliance Genie we don't hide our service charges, honest simple straight forward estimates are provided, no fancy industry speech or sales pitch about waiving service charges if you complete repairs, while overcharging for parts and labor NO NOT HERE - NOT EVER... This is a very well-known practice in the service industry. You can trust us to provide detailed upfront pricing for each appliance repair service. Your service charge is indeed necessary as it covers all the operational expenses a business incurs, including but not limited to; worker's Compensation, Liability Insurance, Vehicle Insurance, Vehicle Maintenance, Employee Salaries, Specialty Tools/ equipment, Uniforms and so much more...

Service Call Fee

Service Charges for more than one appliance:

First Appliance: $95.00 - $150.00

Second Appliance: $50.00 - $75.00

Third Appliance: Free


Special Appliance Diagnosis Pricing:

Outdoor Gas Grills: $150.00

Vent Hoods: $150.00

Wine Coolers: $150.00

Ice Machines: $150.00

Microwaves: $175.00


Our service call fee includes Diagnosis, however, It does not include any Parts or Labor costs.

Labor Cost

Appliance Genie does not have an hourly rate, we will spend the time required for a successful repair, whether it takes 15 minutes or 2 hours; your rate remains as quoted. Our labor costs are based on parts being replaced and or installed as well as the level of skills required to complete your specific appliance repair services. Labor charges are provided after diagnosing your appliances.

Parts

All parts replaced and installed on your appliances are OEM, our technicians never use after-market parts. If we have to order a part to complete your repairs, every effort will be made to order for next-day delivery. However, some manufacturers do charge a hefty shipping fee for next-day shipping and this cost will be applied to your invoice if requested. Other manufacturers shipping methods vary and may result in parts arriving 4 to 5 days later.

*** If a particular part is on a manufacturer’s Backorder, you will be notified and provided the expected time of arrival. This process varies based on manufacturers and even though the parts delivery and availability are beyond our control. At this point, every effort will be made to have parts shipped as soon as they are available.

*** Ever so often a specific part required to complete an appliance repair is discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. When this occurs, we will refund any deposit and labor charges already collected, except for the service call fee.


Warranty

45 Days Service Call Fee:

You can be assured that you will not be charged a service call fee on the same appliance during your 45 days warranty period. Even if the problem is not related to your original repairs. This means that if the appliance develops another problem within 45 days of service you’ll be charged for parts and labor where applicable.


90 Days Labor Guaranteed:

Our labor charge is guaranteed for 90 Days, if your parts fail within the warranty period we will return and replace your parts free of charge, except where the unit shows signs of misuse and or damage as a result of fire, flood, water, electrical surge or act of God, we cannot control mother nature and will not be responsible for any lost perishables/items.


Parts:

All parts purchased by Appliance Genie have a manufacturer’s warranty.

Most manufacturers have a one-year replacement parts warranty. However, some manufacturer's parts warranty varies from 30 days to 90 days, with no exceptions. You will be notified based on the make of the appliance that requires replacement parts.

If replacement parts fail during the parts/Labor/Service call Fee warranty we will return and repair them at no cost to you, your service will be covered 100%.

If replacement parts fail during parts warranty and within 90 days of the first service but, over 45 days, we will return and replace the parts, the client will be required to pay the service charge fee.

If the replacement part fails during parts warranty but over 90 days, we will replace the part, client will be responsible for the labor and service charge fee.

*** Appliance Genie does not provide any type of warranty on parts purchased by clients, any parts installed without a purchase invoice from Appliance Genie will not be covered for any warranty and will be the client’s responsibility 100%.
